Rainbow drip painting

Whole painting

This piece was inspired by Jackson Pollock's "drip" paintings. I used layered paint poured out of a cup to create the rainbow effects in each drip. I really like how the colors stay distinct and don't merge together, and the way that each drip has stripes of color within it.

  1. I absolutely love this piece! It's very different to a lot of your other work as there is less sense of control. Pollock is a massive inspiration to me as it is, so obviously I was drawn to this piece. I love how the colours appear to have remained in their primary form as they contrast so well with the black. Very Impressed!
